The HP Integrity NonStop
NS1000 Server is the entry-level member in the Integrity
NonStop server family, powered by Intel Itanium 2, 1.3
GHz processors. It delivers a new, low-price, software fault-tolerant
solution for smaller and emerging markets that require real-time
access to their most critical business applications. The NS1000
leverages industry-standard hardware components coupled with the
highly valued NonStop software fundamentals and brings a new
option in price/performance levels while maintaining high levels of
application availability.
HP Integrity NonStop NS1000 Servers
The
Integrity NonStop NS1000 Server, based on the HP NonStop
Value Architecture (NSVA), is the entry-level member of the
NonStop server product family. The NSVA delivers all the
benefits of the NonStop software suite, including software
fault tolerance and fault isolation, dynamic workload balancing,
linear scalability, Application Virtualization, and cluster
programming transparency. The Integrity NonStop NS1000 Server
can be configured with two, four, six, or eight processors,
executing on industry-standard enterprise processors. Multiple
servers can be connected together using LAN (Ethernet) or WAN
technologies. The Integrity NonStop NS1000 Server runs the
HP NonStop operating system, delivering full software fault
tolerance and the highest levels of availability and data integrity,
while running on cost-effective HP Integrity processors.
This server utilizes the HP ServerNet fabric, modular I/O,
HP NonStop SQL/MX, HP OpenView, internal Fibre Channel disks,
and HP XP SAN.
The Integrity NonStop
server family includes entry-level and high-performance servers,
providing customers with a broad range of availability and
